Smørrebrød:

Perfect for any kind of lunch, whether for informal gatherings, meetings, celebrations, or other events. Our smørrebrød is known for its great taste, high quality, and beautiful presentation. With the option of warm smørrebrød, it is also well suited for evening events.

Minismørrebrød:
Ideal for standing events such as receptions and similar occasions, or as a flavourful in-between course. It can also be served as a starter or appetizer for your guests.

Family Style:
Enjoy a broader tasting experience with a selection of Aamanns classics. Share the food with your guests and create your very own smørrebrød.

Sandwich:
Designed for those who prefer a flavourful, quick, and informal meal. Perfect for meetings, receptions, summer picnics, and food on the go.

Our smørrebrød varies according to the season, but often it is only the toppings that change. We always offer at least 10 different varieties, including vegetarian, fish, poultry, meat, cheese, and sweet options. Choose your personal favourites or try a little from each category for a varied tasting experience.

How many pieces of smørrebrød do you recommend per person?

As a general rule, we recommend 3 pieces of our regular smørrebrød per person for a satisfying meal. If you are unsure whether that will be enough, you can always order a few extra pieces for the hungriest guests. Our warm pieces are slightly larger and a little more filling than a regular piece.

How many pieces of minismørrebrød do you recommend per person?
Our minismørrebrød are half the size of our regular smørrebrød. As a general rule, we recommend 6 pieces of minismørrebrød per person. If you would like a smaller and lighter meal, we recommend 3–4 pieces of minismørrebrød per person.

How many sandwiches do you recommend per person?
As a general rule, we recommend 1 whole sandwich, made up of two halves, per person. For the hungriest guests, we recommend 3 half sandwiches for a main meal.

Everything you need to know about our 5-course family-style menus
Enjoy a wider selection of Aamanns classics to share with your guests. Can be ordered from just 4 covers. Suitable for both lunch and dinner service for festive occasions.

We recommend choosing add-ons if you would like a wider selection of dishes, or if the menu is to be enjoyed over a longer period of time. Rye bread and butter are included, and we recommend adding our organic homemade sourdough bread. For the perfect experience, we recommend adding dessert — the desserts are individually portioned.

Everything you need to know about our 6-course family-style menus
Our 6-course menus are a satisfying meal in themselves. Can be ordered from just 4 covers. Suitable for both lunch and dinner service for festive occasions.

We recommend choosing add-ons if you would like a wider selection of dishes, or if the menu is to be enjoyed over a longer period of time.

As a general rule, dishes in the menus cannot be replaced, as these are fixed menus. If you are a party of more than 20 guests, we may be able to make an exception in some cases. For the perfect experience, we recommend adding dessert — the desserts are individually portioned.

You can order smørrebrød with one hour’s notice for the same day, but the earlier the better, so we can prepare your order as well as possible. The optimal timeframe for ordering Smørrebrød is as follows:

0–25 pieces of smørrebrød – same day
25–50 pieces – 1 day’s notice
50–75 pieces – 2 days’ notice
75–100 pieces – 3 days’ notice
100–250 pieces – 5 days’ notice
More than 250 pieces – requires further assessment,

You can order Mini Smørrebrød with 24 hours’ notice. The optimal timeframe for ordering minismørrebrød is as follows:

0–100 mini pieces – 24 hours’ notice
100–200 mini pieces – 3 days’ notice
200–350 mini pieces – 5 days’ notice
350–500 mini pieces – 1 week’s notice
More than 500 mini pieces – requires further assessment,

You can order 5- and 6-course family-style menus with 24 hours’ notice. During holidays such as Christmas and Easter, they can be ordered with 36 hours’ notice. The optimal timeframe for ordering is as follows:

0–15 covers – 24 hours’ notice
15–25 covers – 3 days’ notice
25–50 covers – 1 week’s notice
50–75 covers – 2 weeks’ notice
More than 75 covers – requires further assessment.

You can order sandwiches with one hour’s notice for the same day.
The optimal timeframe for ordering sandwiches is as follows:

0–10 whole sandwiches made up of two halves – same day
10–25 whole sandwiches made up of two halves – 2 days’ notice
25–50 whole sandwiches made up of two halves – 3 days’ notice
50–100 whole sandwiches made up of two halves – 5 days’ notice

You can change or cancel your order(s) online yourself if you are logged in with your user profile — subject, of course, to our terms and conditions. The function can be found under “My Orders” after login.

We accommodate allergies as far as possible.

When ordering in the webshop, you can find information about allergens by clicking the “I” symbol in the right corner of the photo.

It is possible to adjust for common allergies for each product in the basket. If you need to inform us of other allergens than the ones available to select, please mention them in the comment field when placing your order, including which allergens we should take into account and which items they apply to.

If we are unable to accommodate your request, we will contact you and try to find a solution.

As a general rule, we pack food requiring allergy considerations in a separate box and clearly mark it with a label.

Please note the following information regarding sandwiches: We do not accommodate general allergens unless it is a large order (+50 pcs.). Enquiries should be directed to Customer Care – [email protected].

We offer a selection of vegetarian sandwiches. We do not offer vegan, gluten-free, or lactose-free sandwiches. Instead, we offer Smørrebrød.

We can accommodate vegan guests by using our vegetarian Smørrebrød as a starting point and preparing them as vegan.

Our warm Smørrebrød and desserts cannot be made vegan.

Our family-style menus can be made vegan. We use the dishes from our vegetarian family-style menus as a starting point. We do not guarantee the same number of dishes, but the quantity will be the same.

Serving and packaging

Our smørrebrød is arranged in FCS-approved disposable packaging, making it easy to place directly on the table for a buffet or plate individually.

The smørrebrød is fully garnished with crispy elements and herbs, so it is ready for you to serve. We recommend having your order delivered as close to mealtime as possible, so it is completely fresh and of the best possible quality.

As a general rule, we pack orders using as little packaging as possible. If you would like individual portions — meaning one box per person — we can accommodate this. Please write “individually portioned” in the comment field. We reserve the right to add a packing fee for individually portioned orders.

Our minismørrebrød can either be delivered in FSC-approved disposable packaging, or you can choose to have them arranged on bamboo platters. For delivery on bamboo platters, an additional delivery fee will apply. Please note that the platters must be returned the day after delivery. You can also book collection — the price will be the same as for delivery.

For the sharpest presentation, we recommend having the toppings delivered separately — especially when ordering on platters. We make sure it is easy for you to assemble.

There can be up to 20 pieces of minismørrebrød in each box if you choose our beautiful boxes.

There can be 25 pieces of minismørrebrød on one platter if you choose bamboo platters.

Our family-style menus are always arranged in FSC-approved disposable packaging, ready to be placed directly on the table. You can also easily arrange the dishes on your own platters and in your own bowls.

Some dishes in the menu may benefit from being heated, and heating instructions will be included for these. If you are unable to heat the dishes, they can also be enjoyed cold. In other words, none of our dishes require preparation.

For orders of more than 6 covers, we will arrange the menu with more than one platter of each dish.

All dishes are delivered with crispy elements and herbs on the side, so they can be added just before serving. It is easy to do, as we pack the toppings in small containers and clearly mark which toppings belong to which dishes.

The sandwiches are wrapped in wax paper and arranged in FSC-approved disposable packaging, ready to be served.

If you need napkins or other disposable tableware, this can be purchased separately. Please contact Customer Care at [email protected] when ordering this.

Delivery and complaints

We can deliver smørrebrød and minismørrebrød between 11:00–20:00, and family-style menus between 11:30–20:00. We can deliver sandwiches between 11:00–16:30 every day of the week.

Earlier delivery may be possible in some cases — please feel free to contact us to ask about the options.

We recommend having your order delivered as close to mealtime as possible, so the food stays completely fresh until serving and you get the best possible quality.

To ensure optimal quality and freshness, we follow the Danish Veterinary and Food Administration’s 3-hour rule, which means that no more than 3 hours should pass from when the food leaves our deli until it is eaten.

We strive to deliver within the requested delivery window. Please note that during particularly busy periods, such as Christmas and Easter, delivery may vary by up to 20 minutes before or after the requested delivery window. We therefore encourage you to order your food well in advance.

The delivery window will appear in your order confirmation, which you will receive shortly after your order has been successfully placed with us.

We offer delivery throughout Greater Copenhagen and large parts of North Zealand.

Delivery prices start from DKK 99. The delivery price varies depending on your postcode and the size of your order. You can see all delivery prices here.

If your postcode cannot be registered when placing your order, please write or call us to ask about delivery options for your address. Contact Customer Care on +45 20805200 or write to [email protected].

If you have specific information for the driver regarding the delivery, you can write a note in the comment field when placing your order. Please write it in English.

If there are any errors or missing items in your order, please contact Customer Care on +45 20805200 during office hours, Monday to Thursday from 09:00–15:00 and Friday from 09:00–14:30, or write to [email protected].

There is no right of cancellation for food and perishable goods.

You naturally have a 14-day right of cancellation on all other items, such as our soaps and cookbooks, as long as the packaging is unopened.
