Organic and responsible

Organic ingredients

At Aamanns, we work with organic ingredients because it makes sense to use fewer pesticides — and because it tastes better.

This applies to all our bread, our dairy products and a large part of our meat, fish and vegetables. Not because it has to be a principle at any cost, but because it aligns with the quality we want to stand for.

Organic ingredients often give us better produce to work with — more flavour, better texture and fewer shortcuts in the production process. It places demands on us in the kitchen, and we like that.

For us, organic is not a goal in itself, but a choice we make every day when we buy ingredients and put together our menu.

Responsibility

We care about where our ingredients come from — and how they have been produced.

Meat from animals that have been raised under proper conditions. Vegetables in season. Suppliers we know, trust and can stand behind — and who deliver great quality.

In the kitchen, we use everything. Bread becomes new elements, vegetables find new life in other contexts, and we continuously work to get as much as possible out of what we have.

That means less waste, better use of ingredients — and ultimately better food.

Social responsibility

At Aamanns, we believe that good workplaces create good food and better experiences for our guests. That is why we strive to be a workplace where it feels good, fun and meaningful to come to work — and where there is room for everyone.

We place great importance on learning and personal development. This also applies to our focus on green upskilling, where our chefs work with flavour, craftsmanship and new perspectives on ingredients and creative ways of using them.

Ultimately, social responsibility is about people — about creating a place where people want to be, grow and contribute.
